Following the liberation of Kherson in November 2022, hospitals in the area struggled with severed supply chains and decimated infrastructure. The retreating Russian forces had completely looted hospitals in the area, taking treatment equipment, medicines, even bed linens and patient hospital gowns. On top of that, severe shortages of medicine made it all but impossible to continue providing care. The Kherson Regional Cardiology Clinic turned to donors for assistance. The order for various medications was successfully placed by Kviten with the Ukrainian pharmaceutical company BaDM, ensuring support of the local economy at the same time as supplying the clinic.
