Helping children in Odesa with Kviten

With funds generously granted by the Association for the Support of Victims of the Ukraine Conflict (ASVUC), SA2U helped its Swiss-based aid partner Kviten Association purchase medicine for children undergoing intensive care at the Odesa Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. The medicine was purchased from a local distributor in Dnipro, Ukraine.

Medicine for Kherson with Kviten Association

SA2U partnered with Kviten Association to order medication for the Kherson Regional Cardiology Clinic following the liberation of the city of Kherson in November 2022. CHF 4,000 was used to purchase commonly used heart medication that was in short supply at the clinic. Yet another successful project with Kviten! Aid

New blood storage refrigerators

SA2U’s first direct financing project was the purchase of 5 state-of-the art blood storage refrigerators for the Ukrainian Transplant Coordination Center. The Coordination Center acted as a centralized coordinator for the blood storage system and distributed the refrigerators to various hospitals around Ukraine in urgent need of the new equipment.
