“Wir lernen weiter” is an association that collects laptops from companies and private individuals throughout Switzerland, professionally refurbishes them and then passes them on to people affected by poverty throughout Switzerland.
In the wake of the current Ukraine crisis, we have decided to hold an event on March 26 at Kraftwerk Zürich, where we will collect laptops in the morning, then process them on site and pass them on to refugees in the afternoon.
Since we expect many people to donate laptops on the one hand and also to get them right away, we are looking for more reinforcements. Please register on our Mattermost to see where we can currently still use help. A few areas are as follows:
– Helping with the care of the donors and/or the recipients.
– Setting up laptops (don’t worry: it’s not that difficult)
– Spread the word (get the word out on social media).
The goal of the event is to get a laptop set up and ready to go to as many refugees as possible. We can hardly imagine what it’s like to have lost everything: And this action is intended to enable at least a small step towards a better future. A simple one can help in school, in finding a job or even in integration – and we are glad for any support to create as many perspectives as possible. Thank you for being part of it too!
