Aid provided:2 air conditioners for a medical facility and a large family
Beneficiaries:Blood Transfusion Station staff and patients; a family raising 6 children (4 adopted)

Southern Ukraine’s summer heat is intense, and when you are storing life-saving blood products or raising six children in a small home, proper cooling is not a luxury – it is a necessity.

Through the Hopekeeper Foundation, two air conditioners were provided where they were needed most. The first went to the local Blood Transfusion Station, which already housed plasma freezers from earlier SA2U-supported projects. Keeping the room at the right temperature is essential for the safety of donated blood. The second went to a large family in the Kherson region raising six children, including four adopted girls. It was installed in the girls’ bedroom to give them comfort, care, and a sense of normalcy during the intense summer heat.
