In November 2023, SA2U partnered with the Dobrobut Foundation – the charitable arm of one of Ukraine’s leading private healthcare networks – to fund life-changing medical care for displaced families. With USD 28,300 in funding, this partnership enabled 16 individual patients, many of them children, to receive critical surgeries, specialist consultations, and ongoing treatment they could not otherwise access.

Aid Partner:Dobrobut Foundation
Funds:USD 28,300
Region:Kyiv
Aid provided:Surgical care, specialist consultations, medical procedures, and preventive treatments
Beneficiaries:16 patients – children and adults displaced by the conflict

For families displaced by war, losing access to healthcare can be as devastating as losing a home. Parents of children with medical conditions found themselves in unfamiliar cities, unable to find the specialists their children depended on. The Dobrobut Medical Network opened its doors to these families through its charitable foundation, and with SA2U’s support, each patient received personalized, comprehensive care.

The project was coordinated by Dobrobut’s dedicated team of project leaders – Eduard Lykholat, Roksolana Myshkovska, and Hanna Sharova – who arranged consultations with neurologists, cardiologists, ENT specialists, orthopedists, and other medical professionals for each individual case. Beyond treating immediate conditions, the program provided follow-up plans, preventive measures, and dietary recommendations, giving families a pathway toward long-term health and stability.

This partnership represents SA2U’s commitment to going beyond emergency relief – ensuring that displaced Ukrainians have access to the quality healthcare that every person deserves, regardless of where the war has taken them.
