Just like so many of us, I was convinced that a conventional war in Europe was something of the past, unlikely if not even impossible to happen in our times. Â The realization of how wrong I was left me with a strong sense that we cannot rely on what we believed were certainties for many years and that we need to stand together with the people of Ukraine whose lives and plans and dreams have been so suddenly upended.
With the strong team of SA2U, Ukrainian partner organizations and generous donations, we can contribute to alleviating some of the most urgent needs for people affected by the war. Having worked for over 22 years in the pharmaceutical field, maintaining- and rebuilding functional healthcare is particularly important to me.
